There are a variety of titles and acronyms used to describe people who provide personal assistance and other home and community based services for the elderly and people with disabilities. The following list includes some of the possible titles that you may use or come across. However, this list is not all inclusive and may not include all terms and descriptions that are used. These providers and services may be paid for through both public and/or private funding. On this registry we hope to help connect the elderly, people with disabilities and family members with providers who are helping to care for them in their homes or other community settins.
